Falcons start their day bright and early at 7:05 when our gates open, then at 7:1 5 the first bell to transition to homeroom rings, students must be in their class lines and ready before the bell rings at 7:20 when school begins. If they are late students receive a tardy pass.
Students are expected to wear a school shirt everyday with the exception of spirit days, they must also wear school appropriate bottoms, no tears in jeans or shorts, and shorts must be longer than 5 inches. Students are not allowed to dye their hair any color outside of a natural solid color, no highlights or multi colored dyes. Any breach of the dress code will be addressed by administration and will most likely involve your Falcon needing to be picked up from school if another solution is unavailable.
If you are picking your student up from school please come with your ID, we will not release any student to someone who cannot provide it. When you arrive you are able to sign your student out and we will call them up. IMPORTANT to remember, you cannot pick your student up after 2:20.
If your Falcon is absent, there are three ways to report an absence.
A note written by the parent
A note written by the doctor
Reporting an absence from ParentVUE
The reason for absence must be listed and will be reviewed, if you are curious what the excusable absences are, you can contact us or view our attendance policy in our student handbook listed here on page 6
*Note, all absences must be reported within 14 days of the initial absence, if you report outside that window, the absence will remain unexcused*

Many parents are more familiar with letter grading (A's, B's, C's, D's, and F's) but our school district uses a different system called Standardized Grading where your student's grade is based off their proficiency within the standards taught throughout the year. These grades fall under these categories-
Highly Proficient-Demonstrates above grade level proficiency independently
Proficient-Demonstrates grade level proficiency independently
Partially Proficient-Demonstrates grade level proficiency with support
Mildly Proficient-Demonstrates below grade level proficiency with support
If you have any questions about your student's grade please feel free to reach out to our teachers so they can speak with you in detail about your students proficiency with the standards throughout the school year. Also keep an eye out for Parent Teacher conferences which will be announced on our announcement page when they are coming up.
