Fox Creek Junior High School Virtual 21st CCLC Program

Fox Creek Junior High School will offer 8 Virtual Camps via Google Classroom for the 21st CCLC After School program. We currently have 276 students who have been accessing our Google Classrooms (Based on our Elective Classes). We will offer all students the opportunity to participate in the Virtual Program by invitation. The invitation will include the class codes and will be disseminated via Facebook, Fox Creek School Website and through email and any other platforms teachers use to communicate with parents daily.

Mondays

MEME Club: Class Code xm7rzik

Description: Students create and share memes based on a weekly theme (I.E. Quarantine) that will be shared with the class and/or Fox Creek staff.

STAY ACTIVE: Class Code yqyqrq5

Description: Students will be challenged to stay active and track their activity for a school wide leaderboard.

MATH SKILLS COMPETITION: Class Code 3wfogxg

Description: Students will compete for prizes in the Digital Learning Platform MobyMax. Contests are created using grade level concepts and progress is tracked on a weekly basis.

Tuesdays

TYNKER TUESDAY (Coding Club): Class Code qibenry

Description: Students will learn the basics of Python, a programming language that’s used by millions of people around the world including engineers from NASA, Google, & IBM, by completing puzzles and games using Tynker’s website.

TICTOCK: Class Code yru2uad

Description: Complete challenges and make your own TicTok! A different challenge is posted each class. Challenges will be having fun themes like, dance, DIY, art, hobbies, and many more.

PRODIGY: Class Code 3wfogxg

Description: Students will compete for prizes in the Digital Learning Platform Prodigy. Students take initial placement tests, then practice and compete by answering leveled questions.

Wednesdays

CODE COMBAT CLUB: Class Code 3nzvhs5

Description: Students will be introduced to Computer Science concepts such as loops, conditionals, and basic Python programming language syntax using the Code Combat’s gaming environment.

MINECRAFT EDU: Class Code gsqb42w

Description: Students can create loops, debug code, build structures, and create their own animations.
