Campus Lockdown Notification

Post date: Aug 6, 2015 11:04:20 PM

Greetings Parents and Guardians:

As part of our emergency preparedness program, Fox Creek Junior High School conducted a Lockdown Drill this morning. I am pleased to report to you that the campus was locked down and secure within a two minute period. The campus remained locked and secure for about 15 minutes and it was lifted after site administration, and our school resource officer, checked every door on campus. No unusual incidents were reported to the office and student behavior was excellent.

Lockdown drills will be conducted several times throughout the 2015-2016 school year. The frequency and duration of these drills is determined by our ability to lock and secure the campus in the shortest amount of time possible. Additionally, fire drills are conducted on a monthly basis, with the results reported to the administrative offices and the Bullhead City Fire Department.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve the educational needs of your child. Any questions or concerns about our emergency preparedness program may be directed to the administrative offices.

Professional Regards,

Jon E. Jones, Principal
